Challenge: Frequent Maintenance Intervals and Production Losses Before the project, the Ring-Openend facilities within Alkaplar İplik had to be lubricated every 7 days due to the use of standard grease. This situation; High labor loss, Overheating (63°C) and short-term wear problems in bearings, It caused production efficiency to decrease due to frequent stoppages. Solution: Industrial Innovation with Omega 66 We initiated the "Omega Strategic Efficiency Operation" by integrating the high-tech tribological solutions of Omega The Ultimate Lubricant series into the system. In this transformation, carried out under the leadership of the business manager Mr. Ömer Mutlu, the use of specially formulated Omega 66 Heavy Duty LT Grease was started. Concrete Achievements Achieved The striking results obtained as a result of field analyzes and engineering data are as follows: Record Improvement in Maintenance Periods: The lubrication interval was increased from 7 days to 70 days, resulting in a 10-fold improvement (up to 20 times in some sections). Energy and Cost Savings: By minimizing friction-related energy losses, cost savings of up to 32% were registered throughout the facility. Heat Control and Equipment Life: Bearing temperatures were reduced from 63°C to 51°C, preventing deterioration and stoppages due to heating. Sustainability: A superior contribution was made to the "Green Production" targets by reducing carbon emissions.
